ABS has an exciting opportunity for a Reproductive Technician role in Ohio and Indiana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Repro Tech provides technical knowledge, advice and support to sales representatives, resellers and customers during the sales process to resolve requests regarding product\/service technical issues and to maximize the benefits derived from the organization’s products and\/or services.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Essential Functions include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      • Accountable for the safe, efficient and successful insemination of customer\u2019s herds.<\/li>
      • Provide heat detection and insemination service to assigned customers<\/li>
      • Working with the customer, develop on-farm procedures to help facilitate implementation of RMS in each customer’s operation<\/li>
      • Cooperate with other farm advisors (Vet, Nutritionist, etc.) to integrate RMS into total farm management plan<\/li>
      • Help locate, train and develop competent relief help<\/li>
      • Work cooperatively with Independent Reps in the area.<\/li>
      • Develop and maintain professional and effective relationships with management, sales team, Independent Representatives and customers.  Represent ABS Global in a manner consistent with company values.<\/li>
      • To ensure the image and service orientation of the department and ABS remain professional at all times.  To strive to develop new skills and assume greater responsibility within the department and organization.<\/li>

            • Bachelor of Science degree or Associates degree in Agribusiness or related field preferred<\/li><\/ul><\/li>

              • Valid state Driver\u2019s License<\/li><\/ul><\/li>
              • Experience        <\/strong>
                • Minimum 1 year insemination experience preferred<\/li><\/ul><\/li>
                • Other   <\/strong>
                  • Stand, sit and walk for long periods of time<\/li><\/ul>
                    • Lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs<\/li><\/ul>
