Every year, the ABS Global team publishes a calendar for our dairy producers. It has been an iconic tool we see hanging in thousands of barns across the U.S. This year, we want your help building that calendar! Have you taken any photos of your calves? Have some great shots of your kids walking through the barn? Caught a beautiful sunset while you’re cows are on pasture? Please share them with us for a chance to make it into our annual calendar.
Eligibility: The contest is open to everyone, including ABS employees and authorized independent representatives. Each participant may enter as many photos as they wish. All photos must be submitted via EMAIL TO ABS.MARKETING@GENUSPLC.COM.
Judging: The ABS team will choose the top photos to be used in our calendar. The top 12 photos will be posted on the ABS Global Facebook page for our friends, families, and customers to vote for our calendar cover photo!
- Participants may tag friends in comments on photos and share the photo to gain likes, but it is not required. Only likes on the original photo will be counted; likes on the main post or likes from shared posts will not be counted.
- Submissions are allowed starting July 14, closing on August 1. Voting on the ABS Facebook page will take place early-August.
Prizes:
- The top 12 photos will be included in the 2023 calendar.
- Photographers of the top 12 photos will each receive an ABS hat and 2023 calendar.
- Photographers of the top three photos will receive ABS Semen Credits.
- First place: $200
- Second Place: $100
- Third Place: $50
Submission Guidelines: To be considered for the calendar, the photos must contain dairy cows, calves, hiefers, dairy/beef crosses, or pertain to the dairy industry. Preference may be given to ABS-sired cattle featured in the photos. Photos must be high resolution and horizontal or landscape format.
Terms and Conditions:
- By submitting a digital photo for consideration, you are stating that you have secured the necessary permissions for all photo content (including people) and you are authorizing ABS Global, Inc. to use the photo in any and all promotional materials or as ABS Global, Inc. deems appropriate (i.e. website, brochures, social media, etc.).
- By entering the contest, photographer consents to ABS to publish their submitted photo in promotional materials, credit may or may not be given.
- Entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. on August 1, 2022.
- Participants can submit multiple photos.
- Photos that are lewd, obscene, sexually explicit, pornographic, defamatory, or libelous will be disqualified.
- By submitting a photo, contestant consents to the entry of their submission and agrees to the term and conditions.
- ABS Global, Inc. does not accept responsibility for photos that may be reproduced or used without these permissions.
